GSAC emphasies the need of hour in Sustainable Aviation for India
Aviakul Private Limited [Aviakul] organized a 2-day International Conference on Global Sustainable Aviation Conclave on 13 – 14 October 2022 at the Main Auditorium of Indian Aviation Academy (A joint Venture between Airports Authority of India (AAI), Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS)) in New Delhi. This event has attracted more than 1200+ participants both physically and virtually.
GSAC 2022 HIGHLIGHTS
The Opening ceremony was initiated by Lighting of Lamp. Air Marshal (Dr.) Rajeev Sachdeva, AVSM (PhD) presided over the ceremony as chief guest. Maj. Gen. Mathur set the context on Metamorphes Foundation’s activities who collaborated with Aviakul to organize a one-day seminar, Shri. Andy Kotwani delivered the welcome address; Dr. Gopal Kamath and Shri. Vikas Khitha shared their thoughts on Military Education and its relevance to Nation Building.
The conference kicked off with a Technical Session discussing Laying the contours for Military education. Lt. Gen. Anil Kumar Bhatt, Prof. Shrikant Paranjpe, Capt. (Dr.) Probal K. Ghosh and Dr. Kailash Kumar Pathak shared their though provoking lectures. It was followed by a Panel Discussion moderated by Col. K. V. Kuber on the topic “Should military education take the next level of National indulgence?”
Day 2 (14 October 2022) kicked off with a Cultural Performance by Smt. Arunima Ghosh. It was followed by an informative technical session on Sustainable Airports & Infrastructure involving speakers such as Dr. Dewakar Goel, Shri. Gurumukh Singh Bawa and Shri. Pankaj Dubey. The Panel Discussion on Challenges in achieving Sustainable Solutions had intense and interesting discussions involving industry stalwarts such as Shri. Ajay Kumar, Shri. Sandeep Bahl, Shri. Varun Vijay Singh, Shri. Yogesh Garg with Col. K. V. Kuber moderating the session.
Aviakul also had the privilege to share the stage with an Olympic Medal Winner, Kumari Gauranshi Sharma who won Gold Medal in Deaf Olympics held in Brazil on 05 May 2022. Shri. Ashwani Sharma, Shri. Bhargava Ramana Rayaprolu and Shri. Thanigesh Arumugam Parthasarathi shared their insights on tools to achieve Sustainability in Technical Session 03.
The event was concluded by Shri. Vaibhav Varun making couple of announcements including a Centre of Drone Excellence being established by Aviakul at Mewar University and about the Second edition of EAMRO 2022 “2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Aviation MRO Industry” which will be held in New Delhi in April 2023. This Conclave was well received among the experts, delegates and participants making it a success.
